BOAT DESCRIPTION
NEW LOW PRICE: $75,540 for the Carver Boat.

Three entities are being offered for sale:

1. A like-new feature-loaded Carver 325 aft-cabin fly-bridge boat.

2. A 9’3’ Avon Dinghy with a 4HP motor, carrier system, inflator, etc.

3. A group of 50 nautical accessories, including GPS, Fortress anchor,

lines, fenders, fender-boards, heater, fan, electric connectors, etc.

The Carver Boat:

This boat is a like-new feature-loaded 1997 Carver Model 325 aft-cabin fly-bridge motor yacht. The boat will plane at high speeds, but it has been used primarily at

7 knots. Engine hours, Port 386, Starboard 403. Used primarily in fresh water, and 2/3 of its life has also been under roof. Overall length, 36’2”. Beam, 11’10”. Draws 35”. Fuel, 168 gallons. Water, 51 gallons. Waste holding, 20 gallons. Hot water, 11 gallons. Hull is multiple layers of hand-laid fiberglass. Bow and safety rails are welded stainless-steel. Keel, strakes, and chines are reinforced with biaxial non-woven fiberglass. A like-new Kohler 4KW motor-generator set. Two A/C’s. Cleats, 14. A plumbing system by means of which each engine can be flushed with fresh water. Stainless bow racks on the bow for 4 fenders. Boat-to-shore radio. High- quality stereo and CD player. Telephone from bridge to cabin below. A solid fiberglass roof over the entire cockpit aft-deck. A top-of-the-boat arch. A bow pulpit. The boat has 3 levels of entry, to match various dock levels: the swim platform, the gunnel, and the cockpit.

A large swim-platform which provides an entry to the aft-deck. A collapsible ladder for climbing from the water onto the swim-platform. A large built-in storage box mounted on the swim-platform. Solid thin weatherboards and stainless rails surrounding the aft-deck. A total of 40 gauges, levers, and switches on the bridge dash-board, to navigate and pilot the boat. A 1000-watt electrical anchor windlass. This superbly-live-aboard boat is actually a 7-room house. These rooms include: (1) A unique triangular-shaped office-dinette-berth in the bow of the boat, (2) Head (bathroom), (3) Galley (kitchen), (4) Salon (Living-room), (5) Aft-berth, (6) Cockpit (aft-deck), and (7) Fly-bridge. The boat can comfortably sleep 6. The upholstery is leather. The triangular-shaped room in the bow serves as a place during the day for office work, a dining room for meals, and a berth for 2 at night. The head includes a toilet, a shower, and a sink. The galley contains a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave oven and a sink. The salon includes a sofa which unfolds into a bed. The aft-cabin includes a double-berth, a single-berth, a vanity, and bedspreads which match the interior decor. The cockpit is for spending leisure time outdoors, and the fly-bridge, which seats 6, is for piloting the boat, or for relaxing above the other boats. The boat is powered by two Crusader Model 350 XLI V-8 engines. The transmission, gearing, and the propellers have been tuned to optimize the performance of this boat.

The Dinghy Group
The dinghy group consists of the following: A 9’3” Avon Dingy made of Hypalon, with a wooden transom, plus a 4HP Evinrude outboard motor and a fuel tank. A special floor for the dinghy which consists of PVC padding plus plywood. A 4HP Evinrude outboard motor for the dinghy. A special gas tank for the outboard motor. A foot-operated inflator for the dinghy. A designed-by-owner system of clamps, hinges, straps, lines and cleats which enable the dinghy to be carried by the aft edge of the swim-platform, such that the swim-platform can still be used as a path of entry into or out-of the boat. The dinghy can then be carried at any angle from flat-in-the-water, to erect, or to leaning against the aft end of the boat.

The Miscellaneous Nautical Group:

This is a group of miscellaneous nautical items such as a Global Positioning instrument, docking hardware, spare propeller, Fortress anchor, space heater, fan, Director’s chairs,

lighthouse lamps, electric cords, Y-connectors, an oil-changing device, and dozens of other items.

Prices for the Three Items

1. The Carver boat: $75,540

2. The Dinghy Group: $6210

3 The Miscellaneous Group: $7250

Other Matters to Consider

A new 2008 Carver comparable to the one being offered here would cost about $350,000. Why spend $350,000 when this like-new, feature-loaded, unique Carver can be acquired for less than one fourth of that sum.
