Voyager's electronics are all Raymarine, and are fully duplicated at the upper and lower helms. The electronics include GPS, VHF radios, autopilot, tri-data units showing depth, speed, and temperature, and 24-mile radar. The radar monitors combine the radar "picture" with chart-plotter functions. C-Map chips for the chart-plotter cover just about all of Chesapeake bay and its "tributaries."

Amenities include interior cushions, curtains, carpeting, etc. colored white, taupe, and tan. Voyager is equipped with privacy screening for the windshield, and for the flying bridge. The main cabin is equipped with a sofa-bed, so the boat easily sleeps 6 people. There are two combination heating/air-conditioning units—one for the main cabin/galley, and one for the two staterooms and the head on the lower level.

Appliances include a 6-cu. ft. refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, 13-in. TV/VCR, and an 8-kW Kohler generator with a Yanmar diesel engine. The boat carries 120 gallons of water, and 300 gallons of diesel fuel.

Voyager's main engine is a 315-hp Caterpillar 3126 diesel. We generally cruise at 8 or 9 knots, and can easily go to 10 to 12 knots. Other "running" gear includes a bow thruster and trim tabs.

In September, 2006 the bottom was taken down to bare fiberglass (gel-coat actually) and received 3 barrier coats and two coats of bottom paint in contrasting colors. Inasmuch as the boat spent the winters of 2006/2007, 2007/2008, and 2008/2009 on the hard, the bottom paint is good for at least one more year—maybe more. The boat is currently located at Yankee Point Marina in Lancaster, VA.
