This Douglas 32 is a classic Ted Brewer design. Single owner. Sails beautifully, excellent in heavy weather. Freshwater use only but a capable offshore yacht. Extremely well built, above average teakwork below. Main and jenny RF, storm jib. $34,900CDN
Refit History
2008: VHF replaced with DSC radio, new coax cable, radar reflector
2007: New foam and upholstery below. Larger capacity bilge pump. 110V panel and all 110 wiring and outlets replaced. Zantrex charger, new batteries. Inverter. Bow roller. Raymarine autopilot. Riding sail. Dinghy-Tow (lifts stern of dinghy with engine for towing). Lower rudder bearing.
2006: Repowered with 30hp Yanmar (3YM30). Prop shaft, stuffing box, cutless bearing, 3 blade prop, fuel tank, exhaust system all replaced. Hot water tank, all freshwater plumbing hoses, pump replaced. Holding tank, vents, hoses all replaced. Fans, 12v Anderson PowerPole outlets and 2 cigarette sockets installed. Cockpit shower. Additional lighting (fluorescent and LED reading lights). Manual bilge pump overhauled.
2005: All new cushions below, bilge cleaned, new bilge pump. Anti-siphon valve installed for head. Bottom scrapped, faired, epoxied, VC17. (VC17 yearly thereafter). New winter boat cover and frame.
2004: Varnish removed, replaced with Cetol. New fire extinguishers, cockpit cushions
2003: Refrigeration. Jenny roller furling and forestay replaced
