You are now looking at the boat of your dreams. The pictures that you are looking at are virtually identical to the pictures in the 1989 brochure from PACIFIC SEACRAFT of the Dana 24. Please note the deluxe interior, which is an expensive option, is included on the boat being offered to you today. Many options on the factory list are on this boat including the three blade prop. The only change in the interior is that I have personally retrofitted the hand-operated water faucets and installed an on-demand pressure water system.
In addition to a pristine boat, sails and rigging, there is also a trailer, the same trailer pictured in the PACIFIC SEACRAFT brochure. The trailer has nearly new tires and a complete new brake system.
Except for one season in the Chesapeake the boat has spent all of it’s life in fresh water.
Electronics include two VHF radios, one in the cabin and another in the cockpit. Both are less than two seasons old. Also included is a Raymarine GPS (2004). Finally, there is a two meter amateur radio transceiver, installed in the cabin as well as a Sony AM/FM stereo. Both the house and starting batteries new in 2008.
Now sit back and read further about the boat that you are considering. Look at the pictures of the interior and you will experience a new dimension in cruising comfort. Stand-tall 6’1” headroom - and look at an open interior design fully fifty percent larger than other boats of similar length. Eight bronze ports and a large forward hatch contribute to the feeling of spaciousness. And to light the night PACIFIC SEACRAFT has fitted four dome and four reading lamps.
Appointments are generous in luxury as well as in size. When you are in the boat run your hand along the meticulously crafted teak joinery and note how the adjoining soft white matte finish provides the perfect counterpoint to the hand-rubbed wood. Note also the exquisite teak and holly sole.
Comfortable seat cushions are 5” thick (new foam 2003) and tastefully upholstered. The starboard and port settees convert into 6’6” berths, with some extra foot room below the forward berth. The forward cabin also features 6’6” long sleeping quarters, a generous 6’9” in width. Ample shelving with removable fiddles accommodates the ship’s library. Clothing and other personal belongings are tucked neatly away in a hanging closet, two large drawers and a drop locker beneath the forward berth.
You can serve up something special in the Dana 24’s gourmet galley. A cover over the Force 10 stove provides added workspace. Large galley lockers hold supplies and utensils. Pacific SEACRAFT’s quality features include a 10” deep stainless steel sink plus an exceptionally large and well insulated ice box. The gimbaled Force 10 stainless steel two burner stove with oven operates on propane. There is a factory moulded-in propane locker.
The master control panel above the galley is hinged for easy access to wiring and cockpit instrumentation.
There is a teak toiletry locker, hand holds and towel bar providing warm accents to the easy-care Formica covered bulkheads. This compartment also features a marine head, integral shower pan, hanging storage for wet gear, plus a convenient mirror.
The Dana 24 has the same qualities of speed, balance and comfort embodied in the larger PACIFIC SEACRAFT 34 and PACIFIC SEACRAFT 37. The Dana 24 is a boat that is easy to sail and sails well! The Dana 24 has a cutter sailing rig that is built for strength, durability and reliability.
Underway, the Dana 24 provides the same feeling of security and safety associated with much larger boats. This boat deigned by Bill Crealock, a well-known designer of performance cruising boats, has a sophisticated hull design and a balanced sailplan to give her the power to take on any sea while maintaining comfort and ease of handling for the singlehandler or the short-handed crew.
There are so many more comforts and details to this boat than can be mentioned here, so please call me and we can talk about your next boat’s requirements and match them up against this superbly built cruising boat. She is truly a boat for the sailor in search of the blue water dream.

Having just sold my Maine Cat 30 to a buyer who found my boat on ABL, I want to thank Glen and ABL for offering such a economical and fine service to boat sellers. The boat was sold for an amount very close to the asking price.
I listed my boat on several boating magazines as well as ABL. I got many serious responses from the ABLlisting and very few from the magazines. If I ever have another boat to sell, I would list it with Glen on ABL with no hesitation. Allan Beitchman

I SOLD MY BOAT!!! Please remove my boat from the ABL listing. SOLD! 41'' 1973 Gulfstar 41.
I had a broker also for most of the period that I was listed with ABLBOATS and the only leads that came to me were from your site. Thanks for the professional display and for providing me with a forum to sell my boat.
