39' Rhodes New Weekender, l946. Classic sloop - only four were built in this class.
According to his biographer, "Philip Rhodes was a prolific and versatile boat designer from l9l9 until his death in l974. His range of design was from "Weatherly" a 12 Meter who won the Americas" Cup in l962 to 123' motorsailers. His sailing yachts with beautifully proportioned hulls and graceful sheerlines are works of true design harmony. They are handsome and uniquely suited for their purpose. They are not only superbly funtional, but have an elegance and ageless beauty that is all too rare in yacht design today."
